Should I seal my cinder block walls before finishing basement? I am planning on finishing my basement. Right now it is bare cinder block walls and a concrete slab floor. We do not get any water in our basement, except for some moisture in one corner, which is only enough to slightly dampen the cinder block. We have a sump pump, but it has never been needed.
