- Not through every router, but you can block it in her hosts file - just point myspace.com to another address - like 127.0.0.1 (her own computer - she'll get a "this page could not be accessed" or some other generic message, depending on the browser she uses). You'll have to search for the file (it's named hosts - no extension) - it's in different places in different versions of Windows.
- the problem with this approach is that it will likely block all myspace, not only your daughter. This is not bad because otherwise she will create another account.... For blocking a site from your router (suppossing it allows that) and it has a web interface: 1. Log into your router. 2. Find the "security settings" section 3. Enable "block by URL" (or something similar, the wording may vary). 4. Enter the name of the web site. Or you might block by IP, for instance myspace.com is 216.178.38.121, though IPs may vary with the time, and some big sites have several IP addresses. Some routers allow you to block by domain suffix, for instace you could block something.myspace.com, or myspace.com (as a whole). Btw, which router do you have?
